liberty station houston beer mondaysJoin us at Liberty Station, 2101 Washington Ave, at 8 PM tonight.  Their tap list has great variety for its size, and if you’re hungry, there’s probably a food truck outside (you are free to brown bag it as well).

rudz rudyard's british pubRudyard’s British Pub, in the heart of Hyde Park at 2010 Waugh, has a nice list of rotating taps that usually has something for everyone (and often some real rarities).  An IPA would be particularly appropriate.  See you there at 8 PM.  Parking is available in two lots nearby.

Most Bitter Bar in AmericaThe Petrol Station, at 985 Wakefield in thoroughly jaded Garden Oaks, is the Most Bitter Bar in America. What you drink while there, though, is entirely up to you. Their tap selection rotates regularly,  happy hour goes on all night, and there’s a burger and pint deal available as well.  See you there at 8 PM, regardless of your mood.

Monday, 8 August 2011: Spender’s choice at The Ginger Man

Posted by john | Meetings | Posted on August 8th, 2011

Tonight, join us for a pint or two, hopefully a good selection on the jukebox (there are plenty of good songs on it, so hopefully nobody will craft a playlist entitled “Nobody’s written anything good since The Wall and Roger Waters ROCKS, dude!”, like last time), and some good conversation at  The Ginger Man (5607 Morningside) at 8 PM.

Monday, 1 August 2011: Striking the balance between beer and cocktails at Anvil Bar & Refuge

Posted by john | Meetings | Posted on August 1st, 2011

Anvil Bar and Refuge, at 1424 Westheimer, is the best bet on lower Westheimer for a good beer (at least until sibling Hay Merchant arrives).  They also make mixed drinks or something.  See you there at 8 PM.  As always, take note of the local parking reality, and stop by for a draught or a cocktail.
