the hay merchant craft food and beer houston txOn this day in 1847, inventor and inveterate self-promoter Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio (Go Bucks!).  Whether or not he invented the incandescent light bulb, he was definitely one of the big proponents of sleeping at (or on) your desk (or lab table).  So whether you’re a fan of the Wizard of Menlo Park, or find yourself in the Tesla camp, come out to The Hay Merchant, 1100 Westheimer, at 8:00 PM.  Sample something from the 77 individually-regulated taps (including at least one nitro and 5 casks) or from the food menu. Be kind to the ‘hood when you’re parking.
