Monday, 4 November 2013: Beer fit for a pharaoh at The Ginger Man

Posted by mike | Meetings | Posted on November 4th, 2013

On this day in 1922, the entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamen was discovered by noted Egyptologist Howard Carter (he’s mainly noted for finding King Tut’s tomb, so it’s a little reflexive, but what the hey).  Pharaonic Egyptians were noted beer makers and drinkers, so stop by The Ginger Man, 5607 Morningside in Rice Village, for a pint tonight at 8 PM.  We don’t really know what kind of beer the Pharaohs drank, so feel free to enjoy whatever beverage floats your solar barge.
