Monday 2, June 2014: Free (as in speech, not as in beer) Beer at Liberty Station

Posted by john | Meetings | Posted on June 2nd, 2014

Liberty StationOn this day in 1851, Maine became the first US state to ban the production and sale of alcohol.  Repealed and reinstated in various forms until the repeal of national prohibition in 1933, “the Maine law” also established legal grounding for lawful search and seizure. Join us at Liberty Station2101 Washington Ave, at 8 PM tonight to exercise responsibly our restored freedoms.  The tap list has great variety for its size, they have a bar full of certifiably-inspired mixed drinks, and if you’re hungry, there’s probably a food truck outside (you are free to brown bag it as well)
