The Ginger Man Pub HoustonOn this day in 1980, the US hockey team beat the defending gold medal Soviet team at the XIII Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid, NY. The US would go on to beat Finland to take the gold.  Commemorate the win with a cold beer (though not on ice, hopefully) at The Ginger Man, 5607 Morningside, in Rice Village. See you there at 8 PM.
